The company began with 18 tractors and 32 employees, and has built a reputation of stable growth over the years to arrive where it is today: a thriving business serving large well known customers, with over 1400 tractors, over 4000 trailer combinations including dry vans, converters, heaters and reefers and over 2600 professionals in driving, equipment maintenance, accounting and finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, safety, and more.

Maintenance Technicians Going Above and Beyond...Bison Transport has the strictest maintenance and preventative maintenance program in the industry. This program eliminates delays in equipment outbound times and greatly reduces the risk of on the road breakdowns. Skilled Truck Tractor and Trailer Technicians are always in demand. Developing, training, fostering and mentoring new technicians is a high priority. Bison helps develop and train new technicians within our network with partnered local high schools, colleges and apprenticeship programs. We also provide specific OEM training on our specialized equipment for our technicians. We also identify and help further develop future careers for our staff. Our maintenance team provides a positive work environment with a culture of safety, learning, efficiency and collaborative teamwork.
Bison is a very family-oriented diverse culture. Organized company events such as Family Day, BBQs, potluck events, golf tournaments, charity drives including truck pulls, and much too numerous to mention throughout the year.
