Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA)
The Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA) is a non-profit organization that is committed to connecting business, government and stakeholders with environmental issues and opportunities. The MEIA represents over 80 companies and organizations.
A commitment to the environment and positive legislative and policy frameworks have contributed to the growth of the environmental industry. The mission of the MEIA is to advance environmental opportunities to all companies in Manitoba through networking, education and support.
MEIA assists its members in the business of the environment through: human resource services including professional development training, recruitment and employment preparation; collaboration with government to create environmental policies, regulations, and standards; timely communications on environmental policies and regulations; development of innovative and sustainable technologies; and networking opportunities.
