A not-for-profit organization, Peak grosses over $110 million in annual sales and was named one of the “Top 100 Canadian Food & Beverage Companies 2017”.
Peak provides jobs in Manitoba including Administrative Support, Accounting, Sales, Logistics, Shipper/Receivers, Grader/Packers and Machine Operators.
Strong work ethic is valued at Peak, while acknowledging fun should be had along the way. Peak boasts high job satisfaction and a low turnover rate.
“People are our most important asset and we believe that work is an important part of life and we should have some fun while accomplishing our goals,” says Pamela Kolochuk, Chief Financial Officer for Peak of the Market. “Ideal candidates like to ‘veg out’ but are certainly “no couch potatoes”. They have great communication skills, are bondable, able to meet deadlines, be a team player and truly believe in customer service that is hard to ‘beet’.”
Corporate culture at Peak includes giving back to the community. They encourage and support community work with charities and other not-for-profit organizations, and they do this through donating more than three million pounds of fresh vegetables annually to community-based food banks throughout Manitoba.
