Maple Leaf Agri-Farms is the hog production division of Maple Leaf Foods. We offers a wide range of career options as a fully integrated hog production system, with feed mills that provide the feed for our barns, our own fleet of livestock and feed trucks, and technical services in areas such as animal health, welfare and nutrition, and quality control. We are proud to be a leader in transitioning our sows into open housing. We are industry leaders in producing hogs raised without the use of antibiotics.
Positions for Animal Care Technicians, Production Operators, Feed Drivers, and Wash Bay Attendants are all required in the immediate future. In the long-term Maple Leaf forsees requirements additional tradespeople, such as electricians, millwrights, etc.
No experience is necessary for most of the positions, however, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment is an asset.
